Dear Readers, Today I  am going to teach how to make Potatoes Stuffed Paratha and Minced Mutton or Chicken Stuffed Paratha. I will use here Potatoes and peas for stuffing.  Any vegetable can stuff in same way to make different paraths like, Cauliflower paratha, cabbage paratha, paneer paratha, Coriander leaves paratha, Carrot and radish paratha, minced meat paratha etc.

Potatoes Stuffed Paratha


Dough Ingredients

Wheat flour                    100gm

Refined flour                  100gm

Curd                              15gm

Milk                                50ml

Oil                                  25gm  (as required)

Salt                                to taste

Ghee                              2table spoon

Potatoes Stuffed Paratha Stuffing ingredients

Potaoes                         150gm

Peas                              100gm

Green chilies                   5gm

Onions                           25gm

Cloves                            5piece (powder)

Cardamom                      5piece (powder)

Ginger paste                   Half spoon

Garlic paste                    Half spoon

Coriander leaves             1spring

Turmeric                        1spoon

Oil                                 25gm

Salt                               To taste

Method for Potatoes Stuffed Paratha


Stuffing: Boil potatoes and chop it. Cook peas keep aside. Heat oil add chopped onion and green chilies fry sometime. Add Ginger and Garlic paste fry for sometime. Then add all other ingredients and fry.  Add potatoes and peas to it. Cook on slow fire and stir till dry. Remove and keep aside.


Dough:Sieve wheat flour and refined flour. Add curd milk ghee and salt to it. Mix well and make a stiff dough. Keep for 45 minutes. Knead and divide into equal portions and make dough balls. 

Roll into your desire shape triangle, round or square. Spread prepared Potatoes and peas stuffing on one rolled paratha and cover it with another one. Bind edges by twisting and pressing slightly. Fry in oil two side until light brown and crisp.

Hot and crispy potatoes stuffed parathas ready to serve. Can eat with or without curry.

Minced Mutton or Chicken Stuffed  Paratha


Even non veg can stuff, Minced meat paratha (Mutton or chicken stuffed Paratha), Boneless chicken paratha etc.

Dough ingredients: Same Ingredients and method as given above to make paratha.

Minced Chicken or Mutton Stuffing ingredients

Minced Meat Mutton or chicken                        200gm

Green chilies                                                   5gm

Onions                                                           25gm

Cloves                                                            5piece (powder)

Cardamom                                                      5piece (powder)

Ginger paste                                                    Half spoon

Garlic paste                                                     Half spoon

Lemon                                                            1small size  (juice)

Coriander leaves                                              1spring

Tomatoes                                                        30gm

Black pepper powder                                        Half spoon

Cumin powder                                                 1spoon

Turmeric                                                         1spoon

Meat masala powder                                        1spoon

Oil                                                                   25gm

Salt                                                                 To taste


Method for Minced Chicken or Mutton Stuffed paratha



Stuffing: Wash meat three times with fresh water. Add turmeric and salt keep aside. Heat oil and add clove cardamom powder then add onions to it and fry till light brown. Add ginger and garlic paste and fry for sometime. Add tomatoes and other all ingredients cook on low flame. Stuffing ready.


Dough: Method Same as given above how to make dough and roll paratha.

Roll dough into your desire shape triangle, round or square. Spread prepared minced mutton or chicken stuffing on one rolled paratha and cover it with another one. Bind edges by twisting and pressing slightly. Fry in oil two side until light brown and crisp. Crispy and tasty Mutton or Chicken stuffing paratha ready to serve.  Can eat with or without curry.
